learning where to look

This arrangement gave me my first real lesson in composition—learning how individual flowers and greenery work together to create one cohesive shape that guides your eye. I experimented with height, asymmetry, negative space, and visual balance, moving stems around until the arrangement felt intentional, not just full.

I’m learning that composition is not about filling every empty space. It’s about giving each element a purpose and creating a path for the eye to move through the arrangement.
